Who operates Artisio

Artisio, available at artisio.art and through its mobile application, is operated by Astra Inc, 630 E Garfield Ave, Unit 14, Glendale, CA 91205, United States. Astra Inc is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy questions, contact hello@artisio.art. Our company website is astra-platforms.com.

Information you provide

When you register, we store your name, username, email address and a securely hashed password. You may add a biography, avatar and cover image. If you publish artwork, we store the image and the title, description, category, tags and optional prompt you submit. We also process comments, collection details, notification preferences and messages you send to support. Do not include information you do not want to share in public content.

Activity and technical information

We store your reactions, followed artists, saved collections, viewing history, learning progress and notification records to make these features work across sessions and devices. Requests to the service necessarily transmit an IP address and browser or application information to the infrastructure delivering the service. Authentication, administrative and error records may be processed to diagnose failures, prevent abuse and protect accounts.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, display and manage publications, synchronise collections and preferences, deliver requested notifications, answer support requests and maintain the service. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on providing the service you request, consent for optional newsletters, legitimate interests in security and service operation, or legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Public and private information

Your display name, username, profile images, biography, published artwork, comments and public collections can be seen by other visitors. Private collections are restricted to their owner and authorised administrators. Your account email address and password hash are not included in your public profile. Only publish content you are entitled to share; another person may retain a copy of information that you make public.

Email and notification choices

Email confirmation, password recovery and other account messages are separate from newsletters. Optional new-work selections and weekly popular selections are sent only when the required email preferences are enabled and the address is confirmed. You can change these preferences in Settings → Notifications or use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter. We use the configured email service to deliver messages and keep delivery records to handle retries and failures.

Pinterest integration

When the integration is enabled and authorised by Pinterest, an administrator may connect Astra Inc’s Pinterest developer application using an access token. Read-only API requests verify the connected account and discover accessible Pins and boards. Access to wider public Pin search is used only if Pinterest approves it. Selected Pin identifiers and source links are stored so Artisio can display original Pins using Pinterest embeds, with attribution and links back to Pinterest. Artisio does not download or host Pin images, store complete API responses, ask for Pinterest passwords or session cookies, or change Pins, boards, likes, follows or comments on Pinterest. Genre notes are written independently of Pin content. Loading an embedded Pin connects your browser to Pinterest, which receives request information such as your IP address and browser details and may use its own cookies. Pinterest handles that information under its privacy policy.

Other service providers

We use hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery and configured AI services to operate Artisio. Administrative artwork generation may send creative briefs and reference images to OpenAI or models accessed through OpenRouter; account passwords and session tokens are not part of those creative briefs. Optional support payments are processed by Stripe, which handles payment-card information through its own checkout. Embedded videos, externally hosted images and other third-party content connect to their respective providers when loaded. Each provider also has its own privacy practices. Information may be disclosed where necessary to comply with law or protect the service and its users.

Cookies, storage and security

The website uses a session cookie for sign-in and local storage for interface preferences. The mobile application stores its session token in secure device storage. We use HTTPS, password hashing and administrative access controls; configured provider credentials are encrypted on the server. You can sign out, clear browser or device storage and change available preferences. Details are on our Cookies & local storage page.

Retention and international processing

Account, profile, publication and activity records are generally retained while they are needed to provide your account and the features you use. Expiring authentication and recovery tokens have limited validity. You can request account and associated-data deletion using the contact below. Limited records may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, security or resolving disputes, and backups may retain information until their scheduled rotation. Astra Inc is based in the United States; infrastructure and service providers may process information in other countries. Applicable transfer requirements depend on your location and the provider involved.

Your choices and data requests

You can edit your profile, remove your comments and saved items, manage collections, unsubscribe from newsletters and sign out through the available controls. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, receive a copy of, restrict or object to processing, or request deletion of your personal information. For account deletion or another privacy request, email hello@artisio.art from the address associated with your account and describe your request. We may verify account ownership; do not send your password. You may also contact the data protection authority applicable to you.

Children and policy changes

Artisio is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information without the permission required by applicable law, contact hello@artisio.art so we can review and address it. We update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where required, we provide additional notice of material changes.
